Job Description:

XWARE is delivering a software engineering transformation program for a major industrial client. We are building a modern CI/CD pipeline for safety-critical embedded software, integrating design, testing, static analysis, and quality gates into an automated workflow with full ALM traceability.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own the pipeline implementation, tool integrations, and automation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (pipeline-as-code, YAML workflows)
  • Configure GitHub Enterprise repository structure, branch protection, PR workflows, and status checks
  • Integrate unit testing tools (VectorCAST/LDRA) and static analysis tools (QAC/MISRA) into the pipeline
  • Develop custom integrations between GitHub, Codebeamer (ALM), and testing tools using REST APIs
  • Implement automated quality gates that block non-compliant code at merge request level
  • Set up structural coverage reporting and automated result upload to Codebeamer
  • Establish MISRA violation baselines for legacy code
  • Document pipeline setup, configuration, and maintenance procedures
  • Support pilot execution and knowledge transfer to the client team
  • Explore AI-assisted workflows for test generation, coverage analysis, and pipeline optimization

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on DevOps or CI/CD engineering experience
  • Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Pipeline-as-code (YAML workflows, declarative pipelines)
  • Scripting and automation (Bash, Python)
  • REST API integration between tools
  • Git branching strategies and merge request workflows
  • Comfortable working with build systems and compilers
  • Autonomous, structured, good communicator

Nice to have

  • Codebeamer or similar ALM platform
  • VectorCAST, LDRA, or similar unit testing tools
  • MISRA/QAC static analysis
  • Embedded C development or build environment
  • Experience with safety-critical or regulated software environments
  • Interest in AI/LLM-assisted engineering workflows
